Time for a Celebration

We awoke to another beautiful day today. Mother Nature is treating us well this season. Mondays at waterfront are training days for the campers. They learn the basic safety rules for boating and swimming and then head down and dip in the water to their ankles to learn the basic strokes of a paddle and how to hold a one properly (we call this dry dock). Ask your camper what a lollipop is!

Coral, our program staff member, started the day off at the Guide site. They were given domino cards, not regular ones but camping ones with trail signs, and when I left after taking a few photos they were all trying to find their match and link together to form a circle.

Waterfront was busy after supper down in the food building baking a cake for the three campers on our Guide site who are celebrating birthdays tomorrow.

I feel a celebration coming on!

Until tomorrow,

Super Eagle
