Days of Summer at Wa-Thik-Ane: A Day of Adventure

Today the camp rose to sunshine, although I must say morning dip was a little on the cool side. Adventure campers were in the parking lot by 9 am with a lunch cooler packed and were off to fly in the trees with Super Eagle. Acro-Nature was our nearby destination for ziplining.

The campers had a great time and all were able to achieve some or all of the zones. It is amazing to watch the girls struggle but keep on going as they rise to the challenge in front of them way up there.

We were lucky to be able to come back to swim time and a little bit of boating time. It was a very busy and active day! The experienced Guide site is shining with pride for being on time for waterfront — a big achievement! Way to go Iroquois Guides!

The day came to a perfect end with my favorite camp activity, a central campfire where all the sites came together. Waterfront staff led us in a wonderful campfire, a perfect evening.

Super Eagle signing off,
