Morning dip was warm today after last night’s rain shower. Brownies continued with their Disney theme, they have been enjoying a different Disney movie every day- how fun is that? The Brownies also came in from their boating today all smiles with their paddles up like lollipops!
The Guides have been working on learning their insects. They are sharing bug facts before every meal; even I have learned how fire ants can make raft out of themselves. There is a scavenger hunt planned around the camp on their theme and will earn their Camp Tour crest when they complete the hunt. Today they visited the marsh at Ranger Lake!
Wa-Thik-Ane News visited the Brownie site late this afternoon and several Brownies shared their thoughts.
Grumpy (Charyl) checked in to tell us she is having a cackling good time. So much so, that the girls cannot understand why she is called Grumpy. Sleepy (Holli) said she is having a perfect week. Kaiya says she has made lots of friends. Angela told us she loves the swimming. Katrina likes morning dips and swimming in general. Gabriel is making lots of new friends and during her interview, she was preparing garlic bread to go in the oven. She also loves sleeping in the tents and the rabaska boat. Caitlyne likes her camp racoon that she purchased at the camp store and she also made a donut craft.
Doc (Donna) had a great day at camp and Kate has had her best camp ever. Finally, what is camp without s’mores which is apparently Emma’s favorite part!
Until tomorrow…….Super Eagle signing off
