WWWTA- Day 6- Pioneers and Fairies up at camp

Another busy day at Wa-Thik-Ane with the Brownies leaving after three nights full of jam packed fun and our next lot of Wee campers arriving (Moms and Sparks). Brownies ended their camp experience with some more waterfront time in the morning and then a special walk along the Fairy Trail after making their Fairy wands. Even more special- our wonderful Pathfinders that took them on the Fairy Walk!

The new group of Wee campers arrived with smiles, eager to start an amazing camping weekend with their Moms! It was a very busy day for them all and many of them chose to sleep under the stars on their first night here. I was told that some of them even wanted a repeat performance on Saturday night because they enjoyed it so much the first night!

The Guides continued their Pioneer experience by making bread and butter. They were led by an amazing group of volunteer ladies this week, and have been able to make candles, jam, bread, butter, foil plate art and weaving! This was all in between their boating and canoeing.

Tomorrow. the Guides and Pathfinders will say goodbye to another week at Wa-Thik-Ane.

Until tomorrow….Super Eagle signing off.
