Little Sparks of Camping

The 3rd Beaconsfield Sparks had their first unit sleep-over this past weekend. What a blast we had!  The 24 girls enjoyed a “Girls Rule!” themed event. The highlight for most girls was a beautiful pledge box made by each girl – they each wrote two traits they loved about themselves. Each pledge was completed with “I am Beautiful”.  It was a wonderful memento from the sleepover and helps remind them how awesome they really are! No sleep-over would be complete without some evening s’mores and  a delicious pancake breakfast!  This was a first sleep-over for many of the girls and its’ success has spawned increased interest for the Annual District Camp!

The icing on the cake for this event was that the girls helped raise $120 for the CWFF.      Go Sparks Go!
